Mitchelton Youth Club is not solely about creating athletes. Our mission is to create a sporting environment which facilitates the development of healthy, confident, responsible young people who appreciate their own worth and abilities, while also appreciating and caring about others.

Acrobatic Gymnastics (ACR)

An expressive, dynamic and spectacular sport for men and women; combining power and poise, with grace and beauty.

The fusion of traditional gymnastics and acrobatic tricks, with kicks and leaps made famous through martial arts, and brought to worldwide attention by festival performances and stunt actors.

KinderGym

A safe environment for children to develop physical skills in a fun and playful way, at their own rate – ensuring they can experience a wide range of movement activities and be encouraged to think, create, construct, and solve problems with their own bodies.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)

Develop power, strength, and control; mastery of the six apparatus requires the skilful combination of flips, balance, stretch, spin, and landings.

Trampoline Gymnastics (TRP & TUM)

The perfect sport for bold high-flyers who want to jump, sault, twist, and enjoy being airborne; this discipline includes trampolining, and power tumbling.

Self confidence

Through the challenge of learning skills, students gain confidence with each step. Attaining a variety of foundational skills helps them gain confidence in their own abilities.

Coordination

Gymnastics instruction helps develop better coordination, body movement, and fine motor skill development.

Classes can help teach social skills like attentive listening, following directions, taking turns, respecting others, and much more.

Building on foundational gymnastics movement increases the ability for athletes to master more difficult skills. This builds discipline, determination, and resilience.
