Nova United Junior Football Club is based in Newport, Shropshire, and is a key part of the community.
The membership is made up of hundreds of young people, supported by their parents, extended family and many members of the wider Newport community.
The teams and the club structure are run by a dedicated committee of volunteers, many of them parents, who carry out a range of demanding but very fulfilling roles, from child welfare, kit and equipment supply, pitch and clubhouse management to communications, contract negotiations, sponsorship and general organisation. Not forgetting the coffee shop!
New faces are always welcome if they would like to contribute to the running of the club, which can be an extremely rewarding pastime.
